Shearwater Falls uses only the best natural raw ingredients available to create our all natural skin care products. Organic ingredients are used when available. Our ingredients are predominantly Fair Trade, wild-crafted, pesticide free, and unrefined. Water is not organic, so we use the purest distilled water available in our products. At Shearwater Falls, the quality of every product is extremely important so we manufacture small batches by hand using the best possible ingredients.
Only all natural, plant-based essential oils scent Shearwater Falls’ products. This adds healing properties of the essential oils as well as provides a pleasant scent for several of our products. The benefits of essential oils in aromatherapy and in skin care are part of the reason our products work.
We also believe that you should know what is not in the skin care products that we sell. Shearwater Falls all natural skin care products are vegetarian. Most products are vegan and we can formulate any custom product to be vegan. You will never find the following in any of our products:
- Parabens - these are used as preservatives and have been found intact inside tumors in humans
- Petroleum in any form - the molecules of petroleum, such as you find in petroleum jelly and mineral oil, are so large they block the skin's pores. In the short term, this may make your skin feel smooth. In the long term, it makes your skin drier as it is unable to produce its own natural oils
- Artificial colorants, fragrances, or fillers - these may trigger allergic reactions in some people and are unnecessary
- Carbomers - this is often a by-product of several chemicals and can cause extreme allergic reactions in some people

- If you purchase a product and are not satisfied, we will replace the product or return the purchase price within one year of the purchase date. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer this policy for bulk, custom, or wholesale purchases.
- Prices are subject to change without notice.
- Shearwater Falls does not ship orders outside the United States.
- Samples are occasionally available. If you would like to try a product, please contact us to see if a sample may be available.
